H.E. Ambassador Genet Teshome met today, 17 December 2024, with Mr. Alexander Stuglev, Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation. During the meeting, Ambassador Genet thanked the Foundation for successfully organizing the BRICS Summit recently held in Kazan and the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia – Africa Partnership Forum that took place in Sochi and the hospitality extended to the Ethiopian delegations during these meetings. The Foundation was also commended for organizing the Russia – Ethiopia Business Forum which was held in Addis Ababa one month ago. On the occasion, Ambassador Genet requested the CEO to share the Foundation’s experience in organizing international events, including high – profile conferences as well as to explore the possibility to work together in the future. On his part, Mr. Alexander Stuglev briefed Ambassador Genet about the main activities of the Foundation and as to how to cooperate and work together in organizing different events in Ethiopia.
