H.E Ambassador Genet Teshome Jiru (Dr.), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Russian Federation presented his letter of credential to H.E. Bogdanov Mikhail Leonidovich, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Special Advisor of His Excellency President Vladimir Putin for the Middle East and Africa today, Thursday, September 12, 2024.
During the program, H.E. Ambassador Genet conveyed greetings and good wishes message from H.E. Sahle-Work Zewde, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin and greetings message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ambassador Taye Atsekeselassie to H.E the Deputy Minister and they discussed on the relationship between the two friendly countries that has crossed one hundred and twenty-six years, and on the current national and regional issues.
At the same time, H.E. Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Government and the People of Russian for his warm welcome upon arrival and he is confident that the support of the Ministry and the Deputy Minister will continue during his tenure and he will work hard to bring the relationship between the two countries to a higher level.
H.E. Deputy Minister on his part, conveyed a welcome message to H.E Ambassador Genet and said that the necessary support and cooperation will be given to him in his efforts to further strengthen the relations between the two friendly countries and enhance mutual benefit.
